Site Accessibility
WCET wants everyone who visits the WCET website to feel welcome and to be able to use the resources and tools we have available throughout our web properties. We are continually learning about how to create the best user experience for everyone and applying accessibility standards. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 guidelines for all WCET web properties (WCET, MIX, WCET|SAN, and Every Learner Everywhere).
WCAG guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA), and we’ve chosen Level AA as the target for all WCET web properties. Now that the new WCET website is live, we will perform additional accessibility testing with WebAIM and other tools. While WCET strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and accessibility and usability standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas. We welcome and encourage feedback if there is a part of our site or a resource that is not accessible. We are committed to rectifying accessibility issues when possible. Please let us know if you encounter an accessibility barrier with our site.
