A WCET Closer Conversation: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Digital Learning
The last year has been filled with racial protests and a new realization that America still suffers from a considerable digital divide. Colleges and universities across the United States are grappling with how to improve equity, diversity, and inclusion on their campuses. WCET members were invited to join the Steering Committee working group for a Closer Conversation on the topic of equity, diversity, and inclusion in digital learning. Discussion topics included:
- What equity, diversity, and inclusion challenges does digital learning face?
- Are there ways that digital learning faculty and staff can help bolster institutional equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts?
- What does it mean to intentionally center digital learning strategies on equity?
Discussion Leaders:

Chantae Recasner
